Shirley Ellis:  The Name Game
Learning to recognize and create rhymes is an important part of learning to read, this is why some of the most successful children's book authors write with rhythm and rhyme.  Here's a fun way to have fun with names - a game that kids have played for generations - THE NAME GAME.  This is the original version that Shirley Ellis recorded in 1963.  Click the PLAY button on the lower left (right-pointing arrow) to view.
